You can join Katie on her Quest For The Cure in two ways:

  1. Join her walk team for the first ever Frederick Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Frederick Community College. Registration will start at 8:30am and the walk will start at 10:00am. You can register for the walk, find out more information about Type 1 Diabetes, or make a donation HERE. If you are signing up for Katie's walk team please select Katie's Quest For the Cure as the family team when you register. Katie is the walk team Captain.
  2. If you are 6 to 16 and enjoy soccer you can come to the first ever Kick's for a Cure event hosted by FC Frederick Soccer Club. This event is also on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Frederick Community College. It starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12 noon.
